Information Collection & Use
In order to advertise on this Web site, you must first complete the registration form [and/or create a user name and password]. During registration you [are required to] give[s] contact information (such as name and email address). We use this information to contact you about the services on our site in which you have expressed interest.
Upon submission of information to be listed in the WeLendU search directory, you will receive a confirmation that your request has been approved.
If you submit a request to have your website included into the WeLendU.com search directory, we request certain personally identifiable information from you on our order form. You must provide contact information (such as name, email, and billing address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date).
We use this information for billing purposes and to fill your orders. If we have trouble processing an order, we will use this information to contact you.
Upon approval of your request we will allow you to print a receipt from our host page in our “advertise here” section as well as be sent an email confirmation receipt for your records.
We use an outside credit card processing company Authorize.net to bill you for advertisements in our sponsored links sections. Authorize.net does not retain share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes.
A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We do not use cookies on this site
If you wish to subscribe to our newsletter(s), we will use your name and email address to send the newsletter to you. Out of respect for your privacy, we provide you a way to unsubscribe. Please see the Choice and Opt-out section.
If you are a member advertiser and no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication or by emailing us at support@welendu.com. We offer an opportunity to opt-out of communications in our email campaigns. If you should desire to have your information removed from our search directory, you may do so by sending us an email to support@welendu.com Please note that paid advertisements are on a 30 day billing cycle from the initial day of approval. If you choose to remove your listing from our paid “sponsored links” search directory, there will be no credit refunded for a paid 30 day period. You however may inform us to remove your paid advertisement immediately or at the end of the billing cycle. You may do this by emailing us at support@welendu.com or by Mail (P.O.Box) listed at the end of this agreement.
You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third party that is not our agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice as to whether or not to share your information with that party.
Security
The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card number and/or social security number) on our registration or order forms, we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL).
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however.
